ANANTHAPURAM TEMPLE
This is the famous lake temple in kerala.The temple was constructed on 9th centaury. This is considered as the moolasthanam of ANANTHAPATHMANABHA SWAMI TEMPLE Trivandram.This temple is 5km far from Kumbala.The temple is surrounded by water and one crocodile is staying on this lake and also so many fishes too. This is the only lake temple in kerala.
ADOOR TEMPLE
Adoor temple is near to the kerala boarder. It is about 47 km from kasaragod town. It is a famous SIVA temple in kasaragod. Annual Festival of the Temple starts with Dhwajarohanam on the 27th of Kumbam (Feb/March) every year. The Makara Sankramam is an important festival day in the temple when a Sahasra Kumbabishekam with feeding of a large number of people takes place.
MALLAM TEMPLE
Mallam temple situates near Bovikanam in Muliyar village and is 19km far from Kasaragod town. This temple dedicated to Durga Parameswari.Tuesday and Friday are very important days in the temple. The annual festival lasts for 7 days, which falls in the month of February-March every year.
MADHUR SRIMAD ANANTHESWARA VINAYAKA TEMPLE
Madhur temple is about 8km from kasaragod town. This temple is dedicated to Mahaganapathi. Annual festival during the month of March/April every year, it is a 7 days festival. The sacred thirtham of the temple well is believed to cure all diseases. Temple is with rich in architecture.
